Kentec Electronics: takes over Viking. Kentec Electronics has announced its purchase of substantially all the assets of the American fire alarm and detection company Viking Electronic Services and the creation of VES LLC, a wholly owned US subsidiary of Kentec Electronics.

The companies have been working together for over six years in the development of the Elan fire alarm. When matched with Kentec’s comprehensive range of conventional, analog addressable fire detection and extinguishing releasing panels this acquisition provides many new opportunities and synergies, says Managing Director Ray King.
