Loxal Gains Two New UK Patents

During the coronavirus lockdown, Loxal Security kept installing and supplying its Intelligent Digital Access Control System, IDACS, to a diverse range of clients. Now, the company has gained two new UK Patents for their key safes.

The key safes enable clients to control access with keys being securely stored on site; users requiring access are given unique, temporary, or permanent codes. Key holder journeys are vastly reduced, giving significant cost savings, as well as improving clients’ carbon footprint.

With an uptake in demand it’s timely for Loxal to have also gained two new UK Patents for IDACS Key Safes.

“During this difficult time, and at a time where we are preparing the launch of our new IDACS operating platform, receiving these Patents has been very welcome news," said Dan Delaney, Director of Loxal Security. "We all know the Patent process is long – these particular Patents were filed several years ago – however, we now have peace of mind in the knowledge that our products will not be copied.”

IDACS products are meant as an access solution for vacant property, construction site offices, commercial units, domiciliary care, temporary accommodation, hostels or student accommodation.
