The Transguard Group, one of the largest business services companies in the Middle East, has signed an extended agreement with security supplier Gunnebo for efficient cash management solutions for retail.

Transguard and Gunnebo have been cash management business partners since 2014. The partnership was born out of the growing demand in the Middle East for a cash management offering which combines automated cash handling processes with transportation, storage and counting services.

“As of today, we have installed over 600 units in the United Arab Emirates,” says Dr. Abdulla, CEO of Transguard Group. “We receive extremely positive feedback from our clients. We have a lot of cash in circulation here in Dubai, and with the solution we have designed together with Gunnebo we can offer a process to manage cash that gives our retail customers improved efficiency as well as increased security.”

The partnership agreement that Transguard has now extended with Gunnebo also covers new installations. The first of these will be installed at Dubai Parks, a huge theme park which includes a Legoland and a Bollywood area.

“The cash management business has developed rapidly throughout the UAE over the last few years and we are looking forward to extending our partnership with Transguard, the UAE’s strongest player in this sector,” comments Gunnebo’s President and CEO, Henrik Lange.
