As a result of internal restructuring at NürnbergMesse, changes were made to the exhibition team in April last year. A familiar face is Hanna Hauser, who will continue in her role as manager. The team now welcomes Frank Venjakob as exhibition director and Christin Gmelch, who will be responsible for customer acquisition. Julia Urban, who will handle the organisation and liaise with registered exhibitors, has also joined the team. Since the beginning of the year Thomas Preutenborbeck has been the new head of the unit, which means he is also part of the NürnbergMesse Management Board. He is well acquainted with the trade fair and was also its exhibition director in 2014.

Greater reach for drone technology

As of 2021, NürnbergMesse plans to establish closer links between its “unmanned technologies” segment and other trade fairs. Instead of being exclusive to Enforce Tac, as it has been until now, U.T.SEC will in future also be able to present itself as a corresponding platform at other relevant events. The integration of U.T.SEC@Perimeter Protection as a new platform into Perimeter Protection will therefore give the drone detection and defence segment a greater reach.

Specialist forum at Perimeter Protection offers added value

Organised in partnership with VfS (German Association for Security Technology), the specialist forum will take place again in 2022 with a host of interesting presentations. On all three days of the event, the forum will again provide an opportunity to discuss the latest topics of interest, innovative approaches and new kinds of solutions in the fields of perimeter protection, fencing technology and building security with renowned industry experts. In addition, following a successful debut in 2020, we will be partnering again with the Nuremberg Security Conference in 2022.

The exhibitor registration process for the event opened at the end of November 2020. Interested exhibitors and visitors are welcome to contact the Perimeter Protection team if they have any questions.

Safety and security trade fairs at NürnbergMesse

NürnbergMesse has established and proven expertise in the safety and security field. With events such as Enforce Tac – Trade Fair for Law Enforcement, it-sa and it-sa India – Trade Fairs for IT Security, FeuerTrutz – Trade Fair for Preventive Fire Protection as well as Perimeter Protection – Trade Fair for perimeter protection and Fire & Security India Expo, it brings together a total of about 1,650 exhibitors and over 42,000 visitors from all over the world.
