Research with Award: Wagner receives BSFZ seal again

Wagner Group GmbH has once again been awarded for its research and development work. In a decision dated August 11, 2025, the Research Allowance Certification Authority (BSFZ) confirmed the eligibility of the current R&D projects for funding and awarded the fire protection specialist the BSFZ seal for the second time. Wagner received this recognition for the first time in 2022.

The seal proves that the company's innovation projects meet the high requirements of the Research Allowance Act and are considered forward-looking.

Official recognition by an independent testing authority confirms Wagner's high level of expertise in research and development and at the same time sustainably consolidates its position as an innovative company. In addition, there is a legal entitlement to tax incentives.

“Receiving the BSFZ seal once again is both confirmation and motivation for us. It underscores our commitment to actively shaping the future of fire protection with innovative ideas and sustainable development work.

I would like to express my special thanks to all my colleagues who are successfully advancing our research projects with their expertise and dedication,” emphasizes Barbara Möller, Head of Innovation & Knowledge at Wagner.

In addition to the current recognition by BSFZ, Wagner is also ranked among the TOP 100 most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany according to a scientifically based evaluation.

This award recognizes above all the quality and performance of Wagner's corporate innovation management. Alongside the BSFZ seal, it is further proof of the company's high level of innovation and shows that Wagner is a reliable partner for innovative fire protection solutions.

Both awards reinforce WAGNER's position as an attractive employer: they show that employees work in an environment where research and development are specifically promoted and innovative ideas are actively implemented.

The research allowance is a tax incentive offered by the Federal Ministry of Finance and is aimed at companies of all sizes and in all industries that conduct in-house research and development. Further information can be found on the official website of the BSFZ (please note that the website is only available in German).
