Security and fire protection experts from all over the world are going to meet at the Security Essen from 25 to 28 September 2012. About 1,100 international exhibitors will showcase their products and services.

It has to be noted that the area of fire protection has grown again. A total of 140 fire protection exhibitors will be present at the fair, that is an increase of more than 30 percent compared to 2010. Due to the high demand, this year space in a second hall will be made available to providers from this segment for the first time. In addition to the traditional fire protection hall, Hall 1, trade visitors will be able to inform themselves also in Hall 9 about products and services relating to plant-specific and in-plant fire protection, as well as fire protection in industrial buildings, fire, smoke and gas alarm systems.

In Hall 9, also providers of sprinkler systems and fire simulators will exhibit their products. Another point of reference will be the joint stand of the Essen Fire Brigade. Besides the professional fire brigade Essen, about ten companies will present their products and services there, including providers of protective clothing, communication systems and software.

Particularly on 27 September, Security Essen will once again draw the attention of trade visitors to the field of fire protection. Thursday will be the fire protection day at the fair. The Essen Fire Brigade will provide close insights into their diverse fields of activity. Additional companies will present their fire protection solutions in practical demonstrations. Exhibitors from this area still have the possibility to register for presentations on the fire protection day.
