The Sicurezza trade fair expands in all segments, with the two "historical" halls already fully optioned.Meanwhile, the ongoing foreign campaign, featuring presentations at all major world events, made a stop in Dubai.

This year's Sicurezza one of the top European trade shows in the security & fire sector, is registering its most positive trend so far. The doors will open as late as November (from 15 to 17 November 2017), and already the event promises to include a rich schedule of innovations and opportunities for industry operators.

At present, 160 direct exhibitors, about 50% of all the companies represented in 2015, have already confirmed their participation. Indeed, between confirmations and options, the show's two traditional halls are now fully occupied. With such a wide and varied response, the planned expansion is well underway, with the event occupying Halls 3, 5 and 7.

As the companies interested in participating, whether for the first time or otherwise, keep flocking, the event is starting to take shape. An increase is being registered in all the sectors of the security & fire industry, strengthening the trade show's range of offerings. Video Surveillance will be represented in force by major international players and by exponents of excellence of the Italian technology sector. Moreover, in confirmation of last year's trend, this year will see an increase in Access Control, with solutions for every area of application.

Passive Safety also features strongly, with several top locksmithing, key management and safe deposit box brands having already signed up for the event. Security smokescreen producers are also turning out in high numbers, with these systems becoming the first choice of many jewellery stores and retail outlets.

A special area and demo will be dedicated once again to drones and specific security-related solutions. Finally, the fire detection and extinguishing sector is making its first appearance in the trade show, where it requests a tailored presence in collaboration with leading associations.

“The 2017 edition is confirming the choices made, first and foremost the decision to switch to odd-numbered years. Indeed, Sicurezza is continuing its steady growth trend of the past three years,” says Giuseppe Garri, Exhibition Manager of Sicurezza. “Reassured by this result, we will continue to develop the project in all its aspects, in an increasing attempt to make it an instrument of growth for all industry professionals. One of the next goals is to increase the international reach of Sicurezza. We believe it has what it takes to rank among the world's major exhibitions, particularly in those markets, such as Southern Europe and the Balkans, that are geographically and logistically closer.

Meanwhile, Sicurezza continues to work on its goal of internationalization, bringing the world, and in particular Southern Europe and North Africa, to Milan, but also expanding the exhibition's offering to foreign manufacturing excellence.

Sicurezza is continuing to investment in its top incoming buyer project. As a result, as the exhibitors sign up, we are assessing their profiles, so as to select 200 top international buyers with high spending power deriving from the most interesting markets. Indeed, so as to optimize the presence of major buyers, Sicurezza is once again providing its Expo Matching Program (EMP), a business networking platform that aims to match supply and demand, at the trade show, through a meticulous process of mutual profiling.

But the march towards internationalization does not stop there: Sicurezza will also be continuing its road show, organised in collaboration with Anie Sicurezza, and designed to present the event at major international security shows. This initiative is garnering positive results, and will undoubtedly lead to an improvement in the show's placement at the European and global level. The last event was on January in Dubai. On this occasion, with the contribution of Anie Sicurezza, the trade show presentation included an overview of the Italian market, which in 2016 registered a positive trend, partly driven by the growing demand for security technologies for industrial, commercial and residential applications.
