Rapidly advancing digital transformation means that buildings are also becoming increasingly intelligent and networked. The smart building of tomorrow is already part of today's reality. Intelligent, networked building technologies increase the security, efficiency and comfort of offices, commercial properties and multi-tenant buildings. This poses new challenges for access control: it, too, must become more digital, secure and convenient. At SicherheitsExpo in Munich from June 28 to 29, access specialist Sesamsec will be showing innovative products and solutions for tomorrow’s intelligent real estate.

Design and functionality for the highest demands
The new Secustos line will be featured at Booth G16, Hall 2. The new high-performance readers are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and feature a modern design with flat surfaces and high-quality materials such as glass and metal. The RFID readers are available with a white or gray front design, with or without a capacitive keypad. The devices are suitable as universal readers for access control; they are compatible with almost all known LF and HF contactless technologies in the frequencies 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz, as well as with NFC or BLE-based mobile badges such as Legic Connect. Equipped with a Wiegand and an RS485/OSDP interface, the readers can fully meet the requirements for both legacy and modern installations. The new line from access specialist Sesamsec is designed for future viability and flexibility through regular firmware updates and configuration changes.

New services: access control with a future
SaaS (Software as a Service) models are becoming increasingly popular with companies and organizations. Access control, too, no longer has to be carried out in-house in a time-consuming and costly manner. At SicherheitsExpo, the experts from Sesamsec will present "Physical Access Control as a Service," or PACaaS for short. Here, all the necessary components for operating the access control solution are made available via the cloud.

Cloud-based models not only offer proven reliability for the highest security requirements, but also more flexibility and the option to adapt in the future to cover needs and functions unknown today. The services are scalable and can easily grow with the company. Instead of requiring a high initial investment, adopters only pay for the Sesamsec services they need, depending on the system size—ranging from co-working offices to large chain stores. The initial setup and basic configuration of the application are done within minutes with a few simple clicks, and the system is optimally adaptable to the needs and processes of the end user.

At the trade fair, Sesamsec will also provide a preview of its new partner portal. By qualifying as a Sesamsec partner, companies can optimize their market position and redefine the world of access control with cloud-based solutions. The partnership offers numerous advantages, such as greater flexibility, faster introduction of new technologies and stronger growth potential.

"We are excited to showcase our innovative access control solutions at SicherheitsExpo 2023," said Carsten Hoersch, Managing Director of Sesamsec GmbH. "Our new Secustos line and our PAC-as-a-Service offering demonstrate our commitment to secure, user-friendly and future-proof solutions from a single source for our customers and partners."
