Tyco International announced that David Reif has joined the company's newly-formed Enterprise Solutions organization as Vice President of Business Development, Oil, Gas and Refining. This initiative will focus on creating and delivering a range of solutions to customers from across Tyco's three core business platforms.

Reif joins Tyco from Emerson, where he held various leadership and management roles, including Vice President of Hydrocarbon Marketing and Sales in the Global Sales organization, and most recently as Vice President of Global Industry Marketing and Sales in the Process Systems and Solutions division.

"I am pleased to welcome David to our team," said Jason Rabbino, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Solutions. "David brings strong leadership skills and in-depth industry expertise to Tyco. He will play an integral role in developing and delivering integrated solutions to meet the needs of our customers in the oil and gas sector," said Rabbino.

Reif received his master's degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Michigan Tech Chemical Engineering Industrial Advisory Board, and an Adjunct Professor at St Thomas University's Opus School of Business.
