Wagner at TRAKO 2025 in Gdansk
Fire protection specialist Wagner will be presenting its portfolio for rail transport at this year's Trako in Gdansk from September 23 to 26, 2025. Trako is considered one of Europe's leading trade fairs for traffic systems and railway infrastructure and offers a central platform for international exchange on current developments in the industry.
At booth B01, Wagner Rail GmbH will present innovative fire protection solutions for the rolling stock. The company will demonstrate how its pioneering technologies can contribute to increasing safety and efficiency in rail traffic.
Based in Haar near Munich, Wagner Rail GmbH has been developing reliable fire protection solutions for use in rail vehicles for over 30 years. The company has established itself as one of the world's leading suppliers of holistic fire protection solutions for rail vehicles. To strengthen its market presence in Poland, it will be working even more closely with its regional subsidiary Wagner Poland Sp. z o.o. in the future.
The joint trade fair appearance at Trako 2025 highlights this commitment: For the first time, the subsidiaries of Wagner Group GmbH will be presenting themselves together at the leading international trade fair in Gdansk. Wagner Rail is thus responding to the growing demand for local presence and consulting in the local language. Customers and interested parties in Poland will benefit from a direct contact on site in the future.

The Wagner Poland team, led by Managing Director Ireneusz Bruski, has extensive experience in the field of technical fire protection – expertise that will now also be incorporated into the consulting and implementation of projects in rail transport. This has already convinced PKP Intercity S.A., among others: The company recently certified the Polish Wagner subsidiary as a supplier, enabling it to source the entire fire protection portfolio for rail traffic from Wagner Poland.
The Wagner portfolio for rail transport includes false alarm-proof early fire detection systems, an innovative water mist extinguishing system for firefighting in passenger areas, and gas and aerosol extinguishing systems for protecting technical equipment rooms. The systems can be operated both as standalone solutions with direct connection to the Train Control and Management System (TCMS) as well as integrated solutions with a fire alarm control panel and software interface to the TCMS. The standalone versions are particularly suitable for retrofit projects.
Global reference projects include PKP Intercity passenger carriages, PESA Link for DB Regio, Newcastle Metro, Kuala Lumpur Metro, Shenyang Metro, ICE4 Deutsche Bahn, Subway Munich, Velaro Eurostar, Thameslink UK, ÖBB Railjet, Transrapid Shanghai, SBB Doppelstock, Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn, Flirt East Anglia UK, Metro Glasgow, RhB Rhätische Bahn, Indian Railways, Caltrain USA, Stadtbahn Dortmund, and many more.
