A new camera manufacturer each month at AxxonSoft´s webinar

Within the next year AxxonSoft will have webinars together with well known camera manufacturers. During the first part of each webinar AxxonSoft will inform attendees about its newest products. Within the second part one camera manufacturer will talk about its product line. This new program is an opportunity for all to get to know all camera manufacturers one after the other. Interested people get information each month about AxxonSoft´s novelties and one new camera manufacturer.

The program started with Vivotek. In centre of the presentation was the new product line "Supreme" with high quality cameras and functions like the Smart Focus System. This is a function with which the configuration of the lens position can be done from a distance.

In July Mr. Spielberger informed all attendees about Bosch cameras. After explaining the product line of Bosch HD cameras he talked about suitable areas of use for each camera. Bosch´s aim is not only to offer single cameras, but an integrated solution. Because Bosch is a founding member of Onvif, the integration of HD cameras has also been considered. As a conclusion came out that Onvif still is the lowest common denominator and to use all camera functions a deep integration - like the one with AxxonSoft - is essential.

End of August listeners have been informed about IP megapixel cameras of Arecont Vision. The camera manufacturer is specialized on only IP cameras and explained the future development at the market between analogue and IP cameras.

So far the webinar is very successful and has many listeners. "The advantage of webinars is evident: you can follow them conveniently from the desktop!" As a participant mentioned, "so I can get to know all camera manufacturers and find out where there are advantages and disadvantages. I am up to date concerning novelties and compare quality and know-how."

DEHNventil ACI M: Standard-compliant Surge Protection in Industry

High demands are placed on the availability of switchgear in, for example, industrial plants, data centres, hospitals and large administrative buildings. This makes surge protection essential. At the same time, replacement of the surge protection module should not influence system availability. The new DEHNventil ACI M TNS 264 FM has no backup fuse and is flexible in terms of its application. In the event of a fault, the protection module is safely disconnected and can be quickly removed from the base part from either side or the front. The touch-safe design allows the protection module to be replaced without system downtime. The ACI technology employed also enables connection cross-sections of just 16 mm2. This facilitates installation and saves time.

HVI Light Plus for Lightning Protection Applications

When installing bare, uninsulated air-termination conductors on the roof, the separation distance to electrical and metal systems installed under the roof surface must be maintained in accordance with the current lightning protection standard DIN EN 62305-3. Cable installations, pipe systems or metal parts are frequently installed under the roofing in direct proximity to the air-termination system / down conductor, thus posing a proximity issue. The solution is isolated air-termination systems with high-voltage-resistant, insulated down conductors.
