With Abus One, security products for end customers become smart solutions: the traditional key is replaced by a digital version. While Abus One is much more than just an app, the app of the same name is the heart of this system. It enables users to centrally control various Abus security and convenience solutions via smartphone or wearable. However, the goal is not just to digitize security but to provide users with additional possibilities—such as easily sharing (digital) keys and controlling smart products via the app or optionally using a fingerprint scanner, keypad, or remote control. Additionally, Abus One offers smart management and the networking of various products.

The Abus One system already provides a wide range of smart solutions for convenience and security. The continuously expanding system currently includes digital door locks and cylinders, smart window drives for patio doors, various bicycle and motorcycle locks, outdoor-compatible padlocks, and even a smart key storage box. Furthermore, the integration of surveillance cameras is possible.

To ensure these solutions can be used regardless of location, they can be connected to the internet via Abus Bridge One and the home Wi-Fi. This allows users to access and manage their smart solutions remotely.

The technological foundation for this is the Abus SmartX technology—a proprietary Bluetooth-based communication technology that securely digitizes the key. Additional security is provided by the fact that every Abus One component is delivered with an Abus Keycard. This physical card features an individual QR code required for pairing components. The Keycard serves as a unique proof of ownership, protecting against unauthorized access. In this way, Abus transfers its high-security standards from physical products to the Abus One technology.
