Axis Communications introduced Axis Q1809-LE Bullet Camera in 2024 - the first all-in-one camera with up to 41 MP at 15 fps or 8K at 30 fps. It delivers extremely sharp details even at long distances or in low light and is ideal for harbours, airports and sports stadiums.
Outstanding image quality & long range
This device is based on two Axis System-on-Chip and offers very high detail sharpness over long distances as well as excellent forensic value. It offers 41 MP at 15 frames per second or 8K at up to 30 frames per second. A 4/3-inch image sensor ensures exceptional performance in dark lighting conditions. With a customised telephoto lens from Canon, the camera is perfect for long-distance surveillance and offers extremely high pixel density.
Robust construction for outdoor use
The weatherproof aluminium housing with IP66, IP67, IK10 and NEMA 4X and an impact-resistant glass front (IK08) guarantee durability. A mounting arm enables quick installation, while the back box offers secure cable management. Thanks to the PoE output, additional devices can be easily connected and supplied with power.
Secure & efficient video surveillance
The hardware-based Axis Edge Vault cybersecurity platform protects against cyberattacks and offers FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified key storage. This rugged, weatherproof and outdoor-ready camera is IP66, IP67, IK10 and NEMA 4X certified and features an IK08 impact-resistant front glass. The camera's operating temperature range is between -40 °C and 55 °C. In addition, the overvoltage protection minimises damage in the event of a power surge.
