Bosch Rexroth: TalOS security system

Photo

Bosch Rexroth: TalOS security system. The fact that the requirements of security systems are subject to a permanent process of change is something which most operators have experienced – sometimes to their cost.

With Talos, Rexroth has created a system which declares flexibility, openness and independence from manufacturers as its overriding philosophy and therefore produces a long-term benefit.

Everyone knows the small brightly coloured plastic building blocks with the characteristic knobbles with which (not only) children love to play, and which now fill entire theme parks. These building blocks can be combined in any way at all and there are no limits to the creativity used in putting them together.

Whether a ship or a castle – anything is possible and can be changed again at any time. Analogously, TalOS goes one decisive step further and allows the definition of one’s own, completely new building blocks.

In the field of software, these building blocks are called objects - which in TalOS can even be defined by the user himself.
