Euresys: Picolo Diligent Plus

Euresys: Picolo Diligent Plus. Designed for demanding video surveillance applications, the Picolo Diligent Plus is a PCI Express video capture board offering simultaneously full D1 compressed and uncompressed streams on four video inputs.

The acquisition rate of 100 / 120 frame/s or 200 / 240 field/s – PAL/NTSC – is permanently available.

The implementation of an FPGA confers to the board a high level of flexibility.

Besides the high and controlled acquisition rate, the FPGA manages a large memory buffer. This frame store guarantees, independently of FIFO buffers overflows or PCI latencies, the transfer of complete and reliable images.

In addition, the FPGA performs „on the fly“ data processing: scaling, cropping, contrast, brightness, saturation, color conversion and storage format.
