Nedap Security Management: Security Controller. The Security Controller is a new kind of security hardware that eliminates the need for separate dedicated systems for Access Control, CCTV monitoring, Intrusion or Intercom.

It s is an all-in-one generic controller that performs many tasks that previously had to be allocated to different dedicated systems. Multiple different kinds of input sensors such as PIRs, badge readers, cameras, relay contacts, intercom posts, etc. can all be connected to a Security Controller.

Simply by uploading different software applications, and configuring the needed interactive behaviour, one Security Controller will act as an integrated system for multiple security tasks such as: access control, CCTV or intrusion detection.

The Security Controller is fully based on the concept of decentral intellligence, which increases reliability and reduces network dependence.
