Panasonic: dual streaming video encoder

Panasonic: dual streaming video encoder. Panasonic introduces a new four channel video encoder unit from its i-Pro Series.

Taking significant strides ahead of its WJ-NT304 predecessor, the WJNT314 features video analytics to track and detect suspicious activity.

The encoder carries on its predecessor’s crown as a cost-effective way to convert existing analogue cameras into higher performance, user-friendly network recording systems, but delivers even more performance with two channel Advanced Video Motion Detection.

This allows for both intruder detection and object abandonment and removal to be traced.

Intruder detection can pinpoint a suspicious entry whether daylight or after dark and traces the intruder’s steps to ensure the source of the intrusion can be easily identified, whether it be over a fence or breaking into a back door.

Similarly, the encoder will detect if an object has been left for a configurable amount of time or even if an object has been removed, both will send an alert to the user.
