The Assa Abloy SG Expression is an Entrance Control System with an electronic detection system for detecting unauthorized entry and tailgaiting and as an accident prevention device. The Assa Abloy SG Expression is available in different versions and housing variants (open, closed or with glass panel) and can be perfectly adapted to the requirements of the interior design. Design is playing an increasingly important role in security technology. Especially in the reception area, which is the first step into a company.

The Assa Abloy SG Expression was specially developed with this in mind. The slim and translucent housing, the ambient lighting and the almost endless color combinations adapt elegantly to the requirements of modern entrance areas.
In particular, the high-quality powder coating in wood decor offers new design options for entrance areas. A passageway can be used for both entry and exit. Depending on the passage width, sensor barriers can also be used as barrier-free passageways and for small material transports.

A passenger throughput of 30 to 40 people per minute can be achieved per passageway. For higher passenger throughput, e.g. at peak times, the system can be extended by corresponding passages, each with a central housing.
A fire alarm system can be connected via a dry contact and the doors open in the direction of escape. In the event of a power failure, the doors can be moved freely by hand.

The glass doors made of 10 mm thick toughened safety glass swing open in the direction of passage in up to 0.7 seconds after a release signal or when there is free passage when entering the speedgate. Depending on the security level and space requirements, different housing lengths can be selected, whereby the longer the systems, the more secure against unauthorized entry.
