Wiesemann & Theis: handy rail-mount server

Wiesemann & Theis: handy rail-mount server. Not much larger than a pack of cigarettes, the newest Web-IO from Wiesemann & Theis places two digital inputs and two digital outputs directly into the TCP/IP-Ethernet network.

The integrated Web server enables direct access from the browser. A Java applet provides the necessary self-refreshing for technical applications. Individual programming with TCP and UDP sockets is also possible, along with incorporation into SNMP systems.

The Web-IO 2xDigital is also easy to integrate in traditional automation and building technology using OPC servers.

Four alarms can be configured so that notification is transmitted via e-mail, Syslog or SNMP trap when certain input patterns are present.

The states of inputs, counters and outputs can be written to a log file with time stamp via FTP.
