XXS Micro Camera Family

Photo

Kappa presents a new micro camera family. The new generation combines high-quality signal processing with miniaturized design and various sensor sizes. The 1/10" model with a 3,2 mm diameter and an overall length of 7 mm is one of the smallest on the market.

1/6", 1/4", 1/3" and 1/2" models with miniaturized remote head are available, too. The new generation is designed for many tasks. Typical applications are industrial endoscopy and minimal invasive surgery for fixed or flexible endoscopes. The small and light design makes them suitable for applications in the area of robotics, assembly- and mounting devices or manipulators. Ideal for under cover surveillance and as a special effects camera.
Kappa provides the camera heads in combination with a control unit (also without housing - OEM board). Cable lengths can be up to 30 m (for the 1/10" up to 10 m). The camera functions (e.g. AIT, AGC, DRE, Measurement Window, Line Generator) can be controlled by keys or by the RS 232 interface.
