At the Arbeitsschutz Aktuell 2026 trade show in Stuttgart, Ejendals showcased selected new products from its Tegera and Jalas brands—and GIT SICHERHEIT took a closer look at them on site. The spotlight was on the new Tegera Oil Grip 8869 Cut F cut-resistant glove for wet and oily work environments where sharp-edged materials are handled, as well as the two safety shoes, the Jalas Flex 1155 and Jalas Flex 1165.
The new “Flex” series includes two low-cut and two high-cut models. The products combine protection, comfort, and flexibility to meet a variety of requirements in industry, assembly, maintenance, logistics, and skilled trades.
Oil Grip Cut F: Secure grip and cut protection in oily and wet conditions
The new Tegera Oil Grip 8869 is designed for demanding tasks in wet and greasy work environments. Its full, triple nitrile coating forms a barrier against water, oil, and grease. This keeps hands protected longer when working with oil-contaminated parts, tools, or machine components.
Oil Grip Technology (OGT) ensures a secure grip on slippery surfaces. A foamed nitrile grip texture improves control during handling and helps ensure that workpieces and tools lie securely in the hand. With cut resistance class F according to EN 388:2016+A1:2018 (4X42F), the Tegera 8869 is designed for working with sharp-edged materials.
The fine 18-gauge liner with CRF Omni Technology provides both good dexterity and a precise sense of touch. Reinforcement between the thumb and index finger increases durability in an area subject to particularly high stress. The glove offers high density, contact heat protection up to 100 °C according to EN 407, and features touchscreen functionality. It is available in sizes 6 through 12.
Jalas Flex: Lightweight, sporty, and protective
With the Jalas Flex models 1155 and 1165, Ejendals is expanding its Flex Series lineup. These metal-free safety ankle boots are particularly well-suited for workplaces where employees are constantly on the move. The collection combines a lightweight, sporty-inspired design with the protective features required in professional work environments. The models are suitable, for example, for use in industry, logistics, assembly, warehousing, and skilled trades.
As a lightweight, flexible ankle boot, the Jalas Flex 1155 is designed for dynamic workdays. Its breathable upper helps maintain a comfortable foot environment, while the anatomically shaped insole relieves pressure on the foot during long walks. The cushioned midsole contributes to a softer stride and can reduce strain on the feet, knees, and back. A slip-resistant, oil-resistant outsole ensures a secure grip on various surfaces. The features are complemented by a toe cap and puncture protection, which shield the foot from typical hazards in the workplace.
The Jalas Flex 1165 combines the protective features of a safety shoe with additional stability and a secure fit. The model is designed for work environments where mobility, stability, and reliable protection are equally essential. Its upper is robust and built to last; at the same time, the lightweight construction helps reduce fatigue while walking. The shock-absorbing sole construction and slip-resistant outsole enhance comfort and traction on varying surface conditions.
The Jalas Flex 1165 also features toe and puncture protection and is intended for professional use. Thanks to the Boa Fit System, the boot can be quickly put on and taken off and easily adjusted afterward.
