Romanian Security Summit Debuts in Bucharest
The first edition of the Romanian Security Summit, held on November 5–6 Bucharest, gathered more than 2,000 participants, 100 exhibitors, and leading international brands from the fields of physical and digital security.
Throughout the two-day program, attendees took part in conference sessions, panel discussions, and a comprehensive exhibition showcase, facilitating knowledge exchange, presentation of new technologies, and new partnership opportunities aimed at strengthening security infrastructure and cooperation across Eastern Europe.
The Summit was jointly organized by the Romanian Association for Security Technology (ARTS) and the professional security magazine a&s Adria, with the support of Messe Frankfurt, the global leader in trade fair organization and security media publishing.

“The results of this Summit show that the security industry in Eastern Europe is experiencing dynamic and accelerated growth. The large number of companies, professionals, and institutions gathered here in Bucharest confirms the need for platforms that connect markets, technologies, and people. This is only the beginning of broader regional cooperation that will have long-term, tangible impact on future security standards,” said Mircea Ciordaș, President of ARTS.
The Romanian Security Summit featured a wide range of topics — from the latest advancements in video surveillance, access control, and automation, to cybersecurity, crisis response, and integrated smart city systems.
More than 30 speakers from Romania and abroad presented strategic insights and industry trends, while the B2B networking platform enabled numerous business meetings connecting global manufacturers with local partners and relevant institutions. Particular interest was shown by public safety agencies and organizations responsible for crisis management and critical infrastructure protection.
“We are pleased that, together with our partners from Romania, we have launched a new regional meeting point for the industry. The inaugural Romanian Security Summit confirmed that the Eastern European market has both the capacity and ambition for further development and international integration. We will continue building this platform as a long-term space for cooperation between industry, institutions, and academia,” said Mahir Hodžić on behalf of the organizational team.
The Romanian Security Summit is part of a broader network of regional security events aimed at strengthening standardization efforts, professional development, and the overall industrial ecosystem across Southeast and Eastern Europe. Organizers announced that the next edition of the Summit will feature additional thematic programs, expanded international participation, and an enlarged exhibition space.
