Wagner Publishes Sustainability Report

Wagner Group GmbH is sending a clear signal for responsible corporate action: with the publication of its first sustainability report for the 2024/25 fiscal year in accordance with the VSME ESRS (Voluntary Small and Medium Enterprise European Sustainability Reporting Standard), the internationally operating family business comprehensively documents its ecological, social, and economic services over the past fiscal year.

With this report, which presents the activities of the Wagner companies in Germany, the company is creating transparency about the progress made, areas of action, and measures within its sustainability strategy.

The report also highlights how closely sustainability and the company's core business are linked: effective fire protection not only protects people, values, and processes, but also conserves resources, prevents environmental pollution, and thus actively contributes to the environment – in line with the guiding principle that fire protection is environmental protection.

“For us, sustainability is much more than just a trend. It is a corporate philosophy that shapes our daily activities and commits us as a company to the environment, our employees, and society,” explains Dipl.-Ing. Torsten Wagner, Managing Director of Wagner Group GmbH.

“At a time when ecological, social, and economic challenges are more closely intertwined than ever, we are taking responsibility and setting an important milestone in the strategic development of our company.”

With this publication, the Wagner Group is living up to its own standards of transparency in communication with customers, employees, suppliers, and the public. The report reflects measures taken in supply chain management, compliance, employee and customer satisfaction, and the environment and resources.

It also outlines the next steps to further reduce the ecological footprint and strengthen social standards along the value chain.

The publication emphasizes the strategic importance of sustainability on the path to safe and sustainable corporate development – a process that continues and reinforces Wagner's role as a reliable partner for safety and protection.
