Abus will not only be showcasing a wide range of innovations in the professional video segment with its Performance Line products, it will also be addressing customers from the professional domain who are interested in ABUS video surveillance, but are not yet partners. This portfolio impresses thanks to its versatility and an attractive pricing model amongst other things.
The Abus Performance Line – Bridging a Gap
With its professional range, Abus offers a comprehensive portfolio that is exclusively reserved for partners. In order to meet the growing demand for Abus video surveillance solutions among installers that are not yet partners, Abus has developed the Performance Line. The Performance Line portfolio enables retailers and professional installers to complement their existing professional range with fully integrated camera models. With this product range, complex security solutions can be implemented with wide variety of special features from the field of professional security. Various tools such as the Abus IP installer program provide support with the installation and professional set-up here. The Performance Line thus bridges the gap with the professional range in a number of ways and impresses with its versatile application options. All Performance Line products are thereby based on the same software as it is used in the area of professional video (including Abus Central Monitor Station [CMS] management software).
At ‘Security 2018’ with new updates
In the area of IP video surveillance, Abus presented attractive updates at ‘Security 2018’. The eight-channel PoE network video recorder now enables up to eight 4K cameras to record. There are essentially two possibilities when operating: The recorder can either be operated with a router and remote access, or as an autonomous stand-alone solution. Furthermore, four different PoE IP camera models are to be introduced, available in high end dome and tube housings. With a resolution of up to 4 megapixels, an IR range of 20 metres and compression that reduces memory usage by factor of six in comparison to its predecessors, these cameras promise to be real ‘head-turners’ at Abus’ trade fair stand 2B11 in hall 2. Just like all other Performance Line camera models, these are also compatible with all Performance Line recorders.
The Performance Line also offers a wide range in the Analog HD segment, with a particularly attractive price-performance ratio.
