Gunnebo Group Reports Gains in Diversity, Renewable Energy and Supply Chain Standards
Gunnebo Group’s latest CSRD-compliant sustainability report has highlighted clear progress across its business units, with positive shifts in gender balance, increased use of renewable energy and stronger supplier governance.
Women now represent 44% of management positions in Gunnebo Safe Storage as a business unit, up from 22%, marking a substantial shift in leadership composition and reflecting continued efforts to build a more inclusive and balanced organisation.
Renewable energy usage has increased to 17%, compared to 10% previously, indicating steady progress in reducing environmental impact and increasing reliance on more sustainable energy sources.
To support more consistent and effective risk management, Gunnebo Group has developed a common Group ESG Template for assessing new and high risk suppliers, strengthening how environmental, social and governance factors are evaluated across its supply chain.

The report outlines how sustainability considerations are embedded across the organisation, spanning supplier engagement, business ethics, environmental impact and social performance. This includes areas such as EcoVadis performance, carbon footprint reduction, renewable energy use, as well as social indicators including safety, career development and gender representation.
The company highlights sustainability reporting as a tool for both compliance, transparency for stakeholders and continuous improvement, enabling structured data collection and analysis to identify opportunities, monitor progress and strengthen its overall approach. This is reinforced by close collaborations with internal stakeholders as well as ongoing engagement from customers and partners, where sustainability remains an active and relevant factor in decision-making.
