Pelco announced the addition of Pivot3 to its Partner First Program. With the integration of DigitalSentry video management software with the Pivot3 Serverless Computing platform Pelco is also pleased that it has joined the Pivot3 HD Storage Alliance. End users running this Pelco product will now have access to the reduced cost and high availability benefits of Pivot3 Serverless Computing platforms. For integrators, Pivot3 adds configuration assistance and field support for installations featuring the Pelco and Pivot3 open system components.

"Open systems solutions are quickly becoming a major part of the market," says Alastair Hayfield, research manager at IMS Research. "Vendors that work together reduce risk and support costs for end users and integrators alike."

"Pelco is a supporter of open-system solutions, and today we continue to expand the number of integration and development partners to provide our customers with more choices and flexibility," says Dave deLisser, Pelco Director of Integration.

"We welcome Pelco to the HD Storage Alliance and are pleased to add the DigitalSentry products to our growing set of open system solutions," says Lee Caswell, founder and CMO of Pivot3. "We have seen a rising demand for Pelco products as more customers recognize the instant ROI created by Serverless Computing where physical servers are replaced with embedded virtual servers."
