Summit in Skopje Brings Together Leading Global and Regional Experts and Key Industry Players
Adria Security Summit 2025, the largest security industry event in Southeast Europe, will take place on October 8–9 in Skopje, at the Aleksandar Palace Hotel. The 10th anniversary edition of the Summit will feature a rich conference program where leading international and regional experts will present innovative solutions, emerging trends, and key challenges shaping the security industry. Through a series of lectures and panel discussions, participants will gain insights into the latest technologies and practices redefining security today and in the future.
The program opens with the keynote “Living and Working in a Big Data World” delivered by Sergej Pičulin and Nikolai Landa of Advancis. Their session will focus on transforming Big Data into clear, actionable intelligence through PSIM solutions. Using practical examples, the speakers will demonstrate how predictive intelligence supports smarter decision-making, enhances organizational resilience, and enables sustainable risk management.
The second lecture, “Trends in Safety and Security Solutions”, will be presented by Tijana Kocevska and Boris Popović, CEO of Alarm Automatika. They will showcase how artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, and system interoperability are allowing security solutions to go beyond their traditional function, driving efficiency across industries from energy and transportation to retail and resource management.

“Our goal is to raise the bar each year by offering content that inspires, educates, and connects participants. This year’s conference program clearly demonstrates how the security industry is increasingly becoming a driver of innovation that extends far beyond security itself,” said Mahir Hodžić, Chairman of the Adria Security Summit Organizing Committee.
Smarter fire protection is increasingly relying on IoT technologies, transforming conventional alarms into intelligent, predictive systems. Networked sensors, predictive maintenance, data analytics, and integrated safety ecosystems enable faster responses, greater reliability, and safer prevention. These developments will be in focus during the third lecture, “Importance of IoT on Fire Safety”, delivered by Jakub Bednarz and Stefanie Steudel of Bosch Building Solutions.
Cloud security is becoming critical as adoption expands across industries, including heavily regulated environments. AWS has become the platform of choice for many critical systems, creating the need for security-first architectures from the ground up. How to design such infrastructure, which tools and services to use, and how to meet regulatory requirements without unnecessary complexity will be outlined by Károly Sepsy in the fourth lecture, “How to Build a Bulletproof Cloud Defense?”.
The fifth session, “Critical Infrastructure Protection”, will be presented by Catherina Piana of CoESS. She will emphasize once again why the protection of critical infrastructure is essential and must remain a top priority for every country.
Visitor registration is open via the digital platform run.events, where participants will receive full access to the conference program as well as advanced networking and meeting scheduling tools.
