Assa Abloy: Managing Cliq Systems with New Software

Photo

Engineered for flexibility and easy operation, Assa Abloy's Cliq Local Manager software has everything managers need to run programmable key access control for their business. The system puts users in complete control of their premises from a PC screen.

From its user-friendly interface managers can add or amend users and change the access rights of Cliq keys with the companion programming device. Managers can limit access according to 32 programmable time slots that they define and collect key audit trails when they need them, without leaving the desk.

Cliq Local Manager is adapted to small or medium-sized businesses and works with electromechanical Cliq systems as well as Ecliq, Assa Abloy's fully electronic key access system based on the same technology. The software handles up to 5,000 keys and 5,000 cylinders or padlocks. Users can even define and administer any remaining mechanical locks in the building from their Cliq Local Manager interface.

The new Cliq software is outfitted with automated COM port selection and makes migration from existing Cliq access control software easy. Day-to-day operation is just as simple: Every system administrator has a personalised Cliq Local Manager home screen with intuitive menu access and powerful search capability. Every day, access routines are PIN-protected for extra security. Within the Local Manager control panel, managers can set reminders so they never miss an important admin task. The software is also GDPR compliant.
