Gunnebo Safe Storage has introduced SafeStore Auto as an evolution of its automated deposit locker solution, designed in response to evolving global demands for security, flexibility, and user-focused innovation.
With more than 2,000 SafeStore Auto systems already operating in 38 countries, Gunnebo Safe Storage’s latest development has built on a proven foundation, introducing critical upgrades across both hardware and the user experience. It enhances the safe deposit experience, blending the latest security features with refined aesthetics and increased adaptability. Driven by customer insight and industry trends, the program represents a natural progression in smart safe storage design.
Key enhancements include a dynamic box configuration – available for the SSA Maxi Model - enabling the number and arrangement of deposit boxes to be adjusted with ease. This added flexibility allows installations to be tailored more precisely to customer requirements and reduces the time and materials needed for setup. The use of steel has been cut by up to 20%, contributing to a lighter and more efficient system that enhances both performance and cost-effectiveness.
The introduction of a high-precision scale system provides real-time weight monitoring of valuables within each deposit box. Integrated with the SafeControl Manager software, this new capability enables operators to implement flexible and transparent charging models based on the actual weight of stored items, supporting a smarter and more customer-focused business approach.
Security has also been further strengthened through the addition of a supervision sensor system that offers real-time monitoring of the safe deposit area. This intelligently detects unusual activity, such as the presence of more people than expected, and can automatically trigger a response via the SafeControl Manager to halt ongoing transactions and prevent potential threats. The detection logic can be customized based on individual user routines, ensuring a secure environment that adapts to real-world usage scenarios.
