IFSEC: SimonsVoss presents new SmartHandle with door monitoring function
At this year's IFSEC, SimonsVoss premiers its digital SmartHandle with door monitoring function for the SmartIntego product line.
From 16 to 18 June, SimonsVoss Technologies GmbH will be presenting its highly innovative keyless locking solutions at the international security trade fair IFSEC in London. Above all, it is one of the most compact door monitoring systems in the world – the digital door fitting SmartHandle with DoorMonitoring for the new product line SmartIntego, the system solution for integrated access control. The door monitoring function reliably transfers security-critical information to the control centre, such as "Door open" or "Door shut", "Door lock secured" or "Not locked". Even exceeded time limits on an open door or a forced break-in are detected and reported.
SmartIntego SmartHandle uses a contactless system to communicate with identification media via the card reader integrated into the fitting. It can be installed in just a few minutes without any wiring in the door or drilling.
With its SmartIntego product line, SimonsVoss provides the optimum solution for the seamless integration of the access control system into an entire building management system. In addition to the digital door fitting SmartHandle, further elements are the digital SmartIntego locking cylinder, the PIN code keypad, the padlock and the GatewayNote. SimonsVoss will be introducing all of these to the visitors of the trade fair.
The SimonsVoss exhibition stand gives fairgoers the opportunity to become acquainted with the digital locking and access control system 3060 and its versatile areas of use as well as the most recently launched products: For example, the digital door fitting for the particularly sensitive application in glass doors as well as the digital locking cylinder also equipped with the door monitoring function. A further highlight is the demonstration of the SimonsVoss WaveNet Router with protective function, which automatically releases or locks up to 250 doors in the event of a fire alarm or other hazardous situations.
