SafeLinc is a cloud internet interface that provide real-time, remote access to actionable data from fire alarm control panels, enabling more effective emergency response, management capabilities and ongoing maintenance planning for facility managers and technicians.
The SafeLinc gateway is easily connected to FireClass and Zettler fire alarm control panels. Once connected, the gateway sends data to a cloud platform, where users can access panel status and view and search current and historical control panel events from all the control panels connected to their account — as if they were standing in front of the panels themselves.
The SafeLinc mobile app provides event monitoring, history tracking and push real-time alerts for quick response to issues across large sites, reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency.
SafeLinc helps teams address skilled staff shortages, reduce total cost of ownership, simplify life safety system installation, and improve emergency response. Traditional systems usually cannot convey detailed information. SafeLinc is capable of sharing event data like device type, zone, point text and point address, to the central station (which can share it with the fire department). Equipped with this information, emergency teams can direct on-site resources toward getting occupants to safety and resolving the issue.
For ASG Integrated Systems LTD in Southport, England, SafeLinc supports remote monitoring across 22 sites. They can track false alarm rates, review event logs and diagnose faults from the office, on site or via a smartphone app.
SafeLinc allows the ASG team to proactively respond to alarm or fault conditions before the customer even reports an issue. One of ASG’s clients uses the SafeLinc portal to confirm that their staff on remote sites are carrying out weekly fire alarm tests and that a different manual call point is tested each week. They can view live status and download event logs for reporting and compliance purposes.
