Paxton Access: integrated security system with mass appeal. Paxton Access has announced the integration of Net2, its networked access control system, with Netvu Connected Digital Video Recorders (DVR’s) from Dedicated Micros.
With both companies designing intelligent reliable products with mass appeal, this integrated security platform should prove very popular with installation companies.
With the demand for integrated security becoming more apparent, the ability to locate a specific event, authorised or otherwise (alarm, door forced etc), and view ‘what happened’ from the same application is increasingly important.
While the system logs each access event, all associated CCTV images are saved to a Netvu Connected DVR.
These images can then be viewed directly from the Net2 software simply by clicking on the camera icon next to a specific event.
