PCS: Intus Palm Secure

PCS: Intus Palm Secure. The identification of persons in security-critical applications requires procedures which are easy to use, but which are as forgery-proof as possible.

Palm recognition ideally combines the requirement for simplicity and high security. The pattern of veins in the human hand is extremely complex and is optimally protected against misuse and tampering within the body.

The position of the veins remains the same for life and is different for each person. Soiling of the skin or superficial injuries do not affect this.

During the induction of the person the vein pattern of the palm of the hand is recorded, converted into a template and stored.

For identification, the Intus PalmSecure Terminal compares the recorded vein pattern with all stored vein templates. Tampering is practically excluded.

The verification of a person is carried out in less than two seconds.
