Telenot: hiline1 – Transmission Device (GSA27-55)

The Telenot transmission device hiline1 has been developed to enable reliable and tamper-resistant forwarding of security-relevant messages. It combines Ethernet and LTE communication in a single compact device and uses alternative transmission paths to ensure maximum failsafe performance – even in the event of line faults, tampering attempts, or cyberattacks. This makes it particularly suitable for applications with enhanced protection requirements, including KRITIS (critical infrastructure) applications, such as industry, the financial sector, and public infrastructure.

The transmission device meets key security standards, such as VdS class C, EN 50131 grade 4, and EN 54, and is prepared for future regulatory requirements. The LTE transmission path ensures that the hiline1 remains unaffected by the planned 2G discontinuation from 2028 onwards.

The hiline1 supports a range of transmission protocols, including VdS 2465-2, VdS SecurIP, Contact-ID, encrypted e-mail, and SMS. Therefore, it enables flexible connections to control centers, fire departments, or server-based services. Multiple permanent lines can be operated in parallel, making different receivers reachable simultaneously.

One key enhancement is the ability to operate intruder alarm control panels and expansion modules at the same time. Additional functions, such as Network Access Control (IEEE 802.1X/EAP-TLS), enhance network security, and Network Address Translation reduces the costs for the infrastructure.

The devices meet the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and are therefore classified as CRA-ready.

Thanks to this combination of redundancy, certification, network protection, and CRA-conformity, the hiline1 offers a future-proof solution for secure alarm transmission.
