Vicon introduces new Cruiser 1080p PTZ dome camera
With its latest SN663V Cruiser PTZ dome Vicon complements its product portfolio in the segment of 1080p ONVIF cameras with a compact, IP66 rated PTZ network dome which is optimized for use with Vicon‘s HD Express plug & play network video recorder.
This powerful high speed dome offers clear video images in HDTV quality and provides high-definition surveillance of large areas and great details when zooming in. With 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution at full image rate of 25 fps (PAL) the dome is the ideal choice for applications that require the capture of quick movements and smoother video.
There are 240 programmable presets and 8 tours available as well as an alarm input and output. Additionally, the SN663V offers multiple features such as video analysis, privacy masking, digital image stabilization and two-way audio.
This impact resistant outdoor dome camera supports day/night functionality for clear video even under low light conditions and wide dynamic range for a better visibility of objects in dark and light areas of a scene. Thanks to digital noise reduction image noise is reduced to a minimum for clear images even nights and less required storage capacity as noise is not recorded.
The dome offers triple streaming video and supports H.264 compression for an efficient storage and bandwidth management. It can be powered with Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) which simplifies the installation because it requires only one cable for power, video and PTZ control.
