Traka presents the ability to secure, manage and audit the use of almost any physical asset, including: premises, devices, secure areas, equipment, machinery and vehicles at Security Essen 2018.
Now, Traka can go one step further to ensure no area of an organisation is left vulnerable, right through to critical data facilities. On stand SG140 at Security Essen, they will demonstrate their latest Traka Web technology, an enterprise class web-based administration software platform, enabling complete management of Traka Touch key and locker systems from any device, even remotely. Traka will also be displaying its comprehensive Rack Manager solution, designed to provide central electronically controlled access to every server rack door in a data centre, including a complete audit trail of all user activity.
Martin Woodhouse, Traka International Sales Director says: “Traka is an internationally recognised brand and part of the Assa Abloy Group, the global leader in door opening solutions. As a business we continue to drive innovation through integrated security and management solutions. We are very excited to be attending Security Essen as the leading trade fair for security. For Traka, this year is about demonstrating how our solutions can bring tangible return on investment both to small and enterprise companies. Further, the value proposition of Traka solutions helps minimise operational costs, increase productivity and ensure the efficient use of company assets.”
Visitors will also be able to see live demonstrations of Traka’s integrated solutions, including Traka’s latest V-Touch compact Key Management system, specialist Gun and Tablet Locker solutions. Martin concluded: “Security Essen is the right international platform to demonstrate our proven integrated solutions. Visitors to our booth will be able to see for themselves how easy, intuitive and comprehensive our systems are, and with full audit reporting capabilities, present an all-encompassing safe and secure solution.”
Rack Manager – In Depth Box
Traka’s powerful Rack Manager solution offers central electronically controlled access to every server rack door in a data centre, with the ability to scale up to suit evolving infrastructure environments. As with all of Traka’s intelligent access management solutions, Rack Manager is controlled by user-friendly Traka Touch Software, with embedded touchscreen technology, allowing instant (customisable) reporting and full audit control capability.
Rack Manager is only accessible by authorised personnel who can even be granted specific times for access, and includes exception reporting with email notifications and email alerts in instances such as doors being left open outside of designated curfew times. And if networked to Traka Web, Rack Manager can provide full administration and centralised reporting for complete peace of mind that critical data is protected at all times.
Rack Manager can be operated as a standalone solution or integrated into existing third party access control or HR platforms to provide a seamless platform to control a data centre environment.
Other Key Benefits
- Ability to manage up to 100 server rack doors from a single touchscreen interface
- Authorized users can quickly and easily gain access via PIN, proximity card or biometrics
- Integrate with third-party databases and systems to drive processes, and to prevent personnel from badging out before all doors are secured
- Ensures security, efficiency and reliability in one intelligent management system
