Dahua Top Management and the Distinguished Uganda Delegation Having a Meeting
Speaker Kadaga is visiting China at the invitation of Mr. Zhang Dejiang, Chairman, Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (China). As Ugandan government is pursuing the industrial modernization, Speaker Kadaga is visiting China this time to attract investment from overseas.
Dahua management warmly welcomed Speaker Kadaga and the Uganda delegation. They presented Dahua’s core competency in video and its vision of becoming a leading global smart IoT solution and service provider. As Dahua has been strategically cooperating with enterprises and government sectors in Uganda regarding Smart City and other intelligent solutions for public projects such as government buildings and infrastructure, Dahua is looking forward to more cooperation in large-scale projects in Uganda and hopefully will bring to local Ugandan people more job opportunities. In term of Uganda’s industrial modernization, Dahua management is very confident that Dahua will play a role to bring mutual benefits. They wished Speaker Kadaga a successful conclusion of her visit to China.

Speaker Kadaga expressed her gratitude to an opportunity to visit a hi-tech company like Dahua. She said that during her visit to the Dahua showroom, she was very impressed that aside from big project experience, Dahua also has practical technologies. Speaker Kadaga said that Uganda needs more surveillance products and solutions to better protect its people. Besides, Speaker Kadaga is very pleased about Dahua’s possible creation of more job opportunities in Uganda.
Uganda, located in the east of Africa, is a member of the East African Community (EAC). It has been bothered with years’ of poor social security. Recently, with several terrorist attacks happened in Uganda, the government’s attention to public security is soaring. But lack of video surveillance solutions and services presents challenges to achieving a well-managed public security.
Dahua has been serving customers in Uganda since 2011. As a result of many years’ hard work, its annual revenue in Uganda has been on a steady rise. In 2016, Dahua Kenya subsidiary was established in Nairobi, capital city of Kenya with a team consists both Chinese and local people, to provide sales, marketing and technical support to customers and users in EAC market.
Dahua will be honored to be a part of Uganda’s improvement in public security to better protect its people. To provide better and better solutions and services to local customers, and with a mission of “Safer Society, Smarter Living”, Dahua will continue to focus on “Innovation, Quality, and Service”, as well as globalization, to serve partners and customers around the world.
