Tegera 9078 is a new needle stick protection for police, security, rescue and law enforcement services. In chaotic situations with improperly disposed syringes, the glove minimises the risk of needle stick injuries without restricting the ability of personnel to act.
The multi-layer para-aramid construction with robust goatskin on the palm and fingertips offers ASTM F2878-tested protection against injection needles up to 10 Newton in particularly vulnerable areas. At the same time, the Tegera 9078 enables precise gripping, an ergonomic unisex fit in sizes 6 to 12, and long, fatigue-free wearing times – even during highly dynamic operations.
Touchscreen functionality allows smartphones and tablets to be operated without removing the gloves, thus supporting continuous communication and documentation processes. Resistance to alcohol-based disinfectants facilitates cleaning in medical or high-traffic environments and maintains protection performance and dimensional stability over time.
