The Tegera 8851 protective glove represents a significant innovation in hand protection for oily working environments. This triple-dipped glove with dipped palms is characterised by its optimal grip in oily environments and sets new standards in sustainability, as over 90% of the liner is made from recycled polyester.

The innovative protective glove combines advanced technologies such as Tegera OGT (Oil Grip Technology) and Tegera OBT (Oil Barrier Technology). OGT provides enhanced grip in oily and humid environments through a special nitrile foam coating. This creates a non-slip surface that improves grip while also increasing breathability and thus enhancing wearer comfort. The OBT forms a robust oil barrier through a triple nitrile coating that prevents oil penetration and ensures long-lasting protection. The special nitrile foam coating prevents the ‘soapy’ feeling when in contact with moisture, which occurred with conventional nitrile coatings and could cause workpieces to slip. With the highest dexterity rating (level 5) and a fine-knit material (18gg), the Tegera 8851 allows precise work without restricting movement. It is also touchscreen compatible. A major innovation is the combination of grip and a robust oil barrier, which is unique in this form.

The focus on sustainability is reflected in the high proportion of recycled material and the use of polyester instead of polyamide as the base material. The glove is ready for use in all industries. Overall, the Tegera 8851 represents a significant advance in hand protection technology by combining innovative materials and technologies with sustainability and adaptation to modern working conditions.
