Hanwha Vision’s Dual-Lens Barcode Reader Camera (TNS-90401BC, TNS-90501BC, TNS-90601BC) is the first solution to combine real-time barcode recognition and video capture in a single device.

The solution was developed to enable logistics managers to track parcels and monitor site activities in real-time - enhancing inventory management, traceability and incident investigation even in complex logistics scenarios. The camera allows them to reduce errors and returns, increase productivity, operational and cost efficiency, and boost customer satisfaction, overall helping customers to improve profitability and achieve business goals.

The solution works in combination with Hanwha Vision’s Vision Logistics Tracking Software (VLTS) to form a comprehensive logistics solution.
The camera incorporates mono and colour sensors, utilising AI-powered barcode detection for multiple parcels within a single frame and to ensure detection accuracy. The solution includes WiseBCR, a pre-installed application that supports real-time barcode information and history.

The sensors offer 4K resolution for clear imagery, while the 16, 25 or 35mm lens provides a wide field of view. The global shutter function captures distortion-free images of moving objects such as parcels on conveyor belts.

The cameras reduce installation and maintenance costs, in contrast to conventional systems that require the installation of separate readers and cameras. The ability to read barcodes from multiple orientations and large data storage capacity promotes efficiency in complex workflows.

Finally, the cameras allow for a full overview of conveyor activities and sites, enhancing worker safety and operational security.
