Since the launch of NurseAssist in November 2023, the cooperation between the two companies has focused on developing reliable fall detection systems for hospitals, elderly care facilities, and psychiatric institutions. With the Mobotix p71, known for its focused, natural imaging and broad coverage capabilities, the teams are now exploring new use cases and extended flexibility in installation scenarios.

“Our mission is to support caregivers and enhance patient safety through intelligent monitoring. Exploring compatibility with the p71 dome camera allows us to better address real-world challenges, especially in situations where ceiling-mounted configurations are not feasible,” says Dr. Harro Stokman, CEO of Kepler Vision Technologies.

Dr. Christian Cabirol, CTO of Mobotix, adds: “We are pleased to support Kepler Vision Technologies as they evaluate the integration of their NurseAssist solution with our p71 dome camera. This pilot phase is an important step in ensuring the combined solution delivers on both performance and reliability in demanding healthcare environments.”

Currently, the NurseAssist Smart Sensor is being trialed with wall-mounted p71 cameras in selected pilot projects. These field tests are designed to validate system performance and user experience. With this initiative, Kepler Vision Technologies continues to push forward the development of intelligent, AI-driven solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the healthcare sector.
