IFSEC, Firex and Safety & Health Expo, the three exhibitions that are part of the Protection & Management Series organized by UBM live, will be uniting business professionals across the fields of security, fire and safety. The Protection & Management Series offers the opportunity to learn, discover and network with a host of suppliers and experts across all of these disciplines. In the past years the exhibitions were located in Birmingham, the UK's second largest city, and have now been moved to Excel London. The event will take place June 17 to 19.

IFSEC International
Taking place at its new home in London in 2014, IFSEC International is set to be bigger and better than ever before. According to the organisers the show relocation has received an investment of one million GBP dedicated to ensuring the 45,000 visitors attending from across the world experience the most interactive and spectacular show yet. In addition to 500 returning exhibitors, more than 93 companies have signed up to IFSEC International based on the event relocating to London after previously being absent from the 2013 show. Amongst these exhibitors returning exclusively for the London move are:
Pyronix, March Networks, SimonsVoss, UniView, CCTV Direct, Security Dynamics, EVVA, Tecnoalarm, HKC, Blok n Mesh.

Nine Product Areas
Catering for the entire buying chain, IFSEC International will give the market what it wants through dedicated theatres for end-user and trade education plus, case studies and nine dedicated product areas, these include:

  • Access Control: Securing assets is a major focus for international businesses and collaborative efforts between security and IT managers are more and more commonplace when it comes to protecting both buildings and the equipment within them. Key to this is access control. Driven by rising concerns
    over public and private sector safety, the access control market is set to be worth a substantial USD 8.6 billion by 2018. At IFSEC can discover the key trends in this security market sector and learn about the latest techniques that will help ensure their organization develops a fully integrated access control solution. The Access Control show area allows to identify and compare a range of integrated access control systems, readers, controllers and software systems.   • Integrated Security Solutions: To have an efficient and effective security system, it is crucial to ensure all systems are integrated. New Location
The new location ExCel London is not exactly located in the centre of London but it is well connected to the city of London, the business hub of the UK. Research done by the organisers demonstrates that there will be an increase in high calibre first time visitors to the show, as the new venue will make it more accessible to visit. Located within close proximity to National Rail stations, the London Underground network and London City Airport, IFSEC International will be easily accessible from across the UK and Europe. FIREX International Set for a Show Stopping 2014
FIREX International announced an extensive amount of new developments for 2014. Visitors of this year's event will be able to experience the most interactive show yet. New partnerships that have been confirmed for 2014 include The Industry Committee for Emergency Lighting (ICEL) and The Institute of Sound and Communications Engineers Ltd (ISCE). ICEL will have a designated zone on the show floor where visitors are able to source approved products and seek expertise and guidance on best practice for installers and those deemed the responsible person. ISCE will deliver educational content
about public address and voice alarm issues to installers, maintainers and end users.
FIREX International continues to work closely with the ASFP, FPA, FIA and LPCB, and the new partnerships with ICEL and ISCE will expand
on the wealth of information available to the industry under one roof.
FIREX Academy and Speakers Corner
The FIREX Academy will be returning with exceptional educational sessions and provide valuable advice on what's happening in the fire sector for the full duration of the show. Three seminar theatres will be present on the show floor and the free content will be available to all visitors who want to develop their knowledge in fire safety, legal implications and fire engineering. Theatres include: Expertise & Guidance Theatre (end-user focused), Installer & Maintainers Theatre in association with the ASFP and the FPA Masterclass Theatre.
Taking on the famous speaker's corner at Hyde Park, manufacturers will have the opportunity to present a two minute product pitch to an awaiting crowd. A prime opportunity to shout about what makes their products unique, manufacturers will be able to convince onlookers why they should come and test out their products at the show.
